Guide Capt. Wes Jones was squeaking through the field like a rabid mouse. It was actually the new front brakes on the van. Wes wanted to challenge himself as a hunter. Peanut Protector Guide Clayton was able to drop a coyote and a beaver last night. Long night but I think this cold snap has thing hunkered down. Lets see what tonight brings and hopefully these hogs are acclimated back to the cold so we can pile them up. This is from earlier in the week. Mother nature doesn’t know if it wants to let go of winter. It was in the 80s a week ago and back to cold so it has hogs locked down this week. Guide Capt. Two and a half hogs not twenty five. 10 total, but 8 were small so we consider its 2.5 hogs for the night. We did a split corporate hunt and I brought on Dark 30 Pig Control to help with the hunt. I had all other guides out but Jett Coptsias and Pig Problem Inc. teamed up to make the hunt happen. Grateful to work with others in the industry.

Hog Hunting at night in Americus Georgia. After the rains from the night before to clear skies it helped produce hog movement early. We got 3 go arounds but only 2 fell and one was a small one. 2 wild hogs down in Americus, GA . The rains didn’t stop us from hog hunting last night. Today will be a little wet during the day, but the evening should clear up. We hunt all conditions except thunder storms, and maybe tornadoes, but we have hunted in those too. I mean do you really want to die in a hotel collapse or go look for pigs to kill. Its just wind and rain, people need adventure and we enjoy going outside.
