Pulsar is finally releasing a 640x480 12um core with their new Krypton line of optics. Pulsar’s image quality has been incredible with what they have been able to squeeze out of a 640x480 17um core with the addition of NETD <40 mK sensor. I have always asked when will Pulsar would release a 640x480 12um in one of their thermal vision optics, and the time is now.
Introducing the new Krypton FXG50 clip on thermal and Krypton XG50 5x50mm spotter with a American made 640x480 12um core. The new pulsar krypton thermal optics incorporate video, wifi and other feature rich options unavailable from most other thermal manufactures. Does this mean this new 12um core will be available in other thermal optics offered in the pulsar line up? Time will tell but in the 10 years I have been introduced to the thermal hunting game, Pulsar is one of the most end user adaptable companies I have seen to date.
