This is what happens when my dad checks his zero. I told him during crop protection shoot them in the guts so you don’t have to drag them as far. He was disappointed that he wasn’t able to get photos. So instead of going to the range to confirm zero he shoots the next pig in the head. He feels better his rifle is zeroed.

A change of weather had us looking for pigs all night. We got on a sounder early on but they spooked so no shots were taken. We spent sometime looking until we got on a small sounder. Bruce dumped this with his LWRC 6.8 SPC with his first shot. Patience is part of hunting we are grateful to have a hight degree of success using technology but it still hunting and Mother nature rules.
