What an incredible Hog Hunt with Guide Luke (Hank), Steve, and Bobby! When you encounter a Pig dead center in a vast field during the full moon, with no surrounding cover, what do you do? You resort to Army Crawling. That's exactly what Steve and Bobby did when there were no other options. With guns in front, we crouched our way towards the Wild Pig, gradually crawling closer as it started walking in our direction. They patiently waited for the perfect shot and when the moment arrived, they nailed it. The Hog dropped instantly from about 100 yards away.

These guys were determined to eliminate the Pigs and they were willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. The second Stalk took us on a decent hike across the field. Using a pivot tire as cover, we managed to sneak close enough to shoot the Wild Hog. We watched as it hobbled about 50 yards across the field before succumbing to the injuries inflicted by the initial shots. This pig had an insatiable appetite for corn. It simply couldn't resist it. So we let it keep the piece of corn it was fixated on, just for the sake of capturing some memorable pictures.
