2.5 Hogs Down
Two and a half hogs not twenty five. 10 total, but 8 were small so we consider its 2.5 hogs for the night. We did a split corporate hunt and I brought on Dark 30 Pig Control to help with the hunt. I had all other guides out but Jett Coptsias and Pig Problem Inc. teamed up to make the hunt happen. Grateful to work with others in the industry.

Guided Hog Hunts

We hunt all conditions except thunder storms, and maybe tornadoes, but we have hunted in those too. I mean do you really want to die in a hotel collapse or go look for pigs to kill. Its just wind and rain, people need adventure and we enjoy going outside.

Photo Shenanigans are a thing. While we tell customers to them all, we also tell them to shoot the big ones first. Well, only these two fell so Clayton had to get real low to make this photo look good Wild Hog Hunting can have all different sizes. Night Hog Hunting
Capt. Wes was able to get these guys on some hogs early but none went down. His next attempt was this big boar hog. He crept through the peanut field with the full moon shining bright. He was able to close the distance like a Sasquatch avoiding squatch patrol photographers. He set his guys up and on the count down of 3 - 2 - Bang! Down it went. I don’t know if its Capt. Wes’s tactical beard or his high speed CZ Shadow 2 orange he carries. All we know is he has sKills.
Hog Hunting And Then It Got Weird
It got weird while hog hunting out of Americus, Ga. I guess if your going to lay down with a hog it may as well be a small one. Peanut Protector Guide Clayton McArdle tore up his van so he had to use a truck last night. The Kid always tries to jump ditches. The guide is an animal, sometimes in the worst of ways. Just kidding the kid is outstanding and I am grateful to have him on our team. Nothing he won’t do and he will put in the work. Capt. Wes got home at 10am this morning after hunting his clients last night. He dropped them off and then went out hunting to see if hogs were moving at daylight hours.
