Father and Son Hog Hunting

In the still of the night, Guide Capt Clayton took the reins for a 1 Night Hog Hunting escapade at Pig Problem in Americus, GA. Battling through a tough start, he and the group didn't encounter their first two sizable Boars until the early hours of 4 AM. As they stealthily approached their quarry, fate took a turn—the Wild Boars vanished into the woods just moments before a shot could be taken, leaving the Hunters in the quiet of the deep darkness. Not one to give up, Capt Peanut Protector Clayton decided to check one last field, a Hail Mary attempt, which paid off. There, a Sounder of Pigs was discovered 300 yards from the van, blissfully foraging for nuts. Derek and his son JC seized the moment, successfully taking down two Wild Pigs in the field, with the possibility of others wounded.
