A Hog Hunting Adventure

Exciting Nights with Guide Hank

This past weekend, Pig Problem had the pleasure of hosting a thrilling 2 Night Hog Hunt led by the ever-charismatic Guide Hank. The adventure was packed with unexpected turns and plenty of memorable moments that the Hunters won’t forget.

Night 1: A Successful Start

Photo: What A Shot @PigProblem

The first night set the stage for an exciting experience. As the night unfolded, Guide Hank demonstrated his expertise in both Wild Hog Hunting and wildlife management... The night took an exhilarating turn when they successfully shot a Hog. Then they spotted a Coyote and took him out. “Spay and neuter is more humane than taking down these coyotes. But we did both cause we’re efficient. We killed that coyote and shot its d**k clean off.” This humorously efficient approach to wildlife management resulted in a "great success" on the first night, setting an energetic tone for the Hog Hunt.

Night 2: A Night of Challenges

On the second night, the team was ready for more action. Unfortunately, as luck would have it, the conditions were not in their favor. Hank reported that it was a "dandy night," filled with excitement and anticipation; however, the Hog Hunters faced a bit of a dry spell when it came to spotting Wild Pigs. Despite their best efforts and a strong desire to continue their Thermal Hunt, the Pigs seemed to have other plans, leaving the team without any photos or victory shots for the night. The Hunters expressed their gratitude for the experience, acknowledging Hank's dedication and expertise even if the Wild Hogs eluded them this time.

As their 2 Night Hunting Trip came to a close, the team left with a mix of memorable stories and the thrill of the Wild Hog Hunt lingering in their minds.

The Pig Problem Inc team hopes all participants had a fantastic time during their Thermal Hog Hunting experience, and we look forward to welcoming them back for more Hunting Adventures in the future! Happy hunting until next time!

2 Night Hog Hunting

Wild Hog Hunt With Guide Capt. Clayton's

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic group of four Hunters for a thrilling 2 Night Hog Hunt led by the one and only Capt. Clayton. As the sun set over the South Georgia fields, the excitement in the air was palpable. Our Hog Hunters were ready for the challenge that awaited them—Hunting Wild Hogs under the cloak of darkness.

Night 1: A Taste of the Hunt

Photo: Down Piggie @PigProblem

The first night kicked off with a flurry of anticipation. Our group kicked into gear and quickly found a small Sounder of four Wild Pigs. They were able to bring one down, but as we all know, Pigs can be unpredictable! The rest of the group scurried away, leaving our Hunters with a mix of excitement and determination. After, they spotted a Single Pig in the distance. However, despite their best efforts, shots were fired, but the Lone Hog escaped unscathed.

The laughter and camaraderie shared among the group turned the frustrations of missed opportunities into lighthearted banter. These guys were genuinely funny, making the night as entertaining as it was thrilling. With a signature farewell, “Goodnight, starshine! Until tomorrow night,” everyone headed off to rest up for another day.

Night 2: The Lone Boar

Photo: Redemption @PigProblem

The second night started off a bit slower because no one was stripping clothes. For some reason Hogs like that. But, the group kept their spirits high, sharing jokes and funny stories as they navigated the night. Finally, around 3:30 a.m., Capt. Clayton spotted a Solitary Boar all by himself. This was the moment they had been waiting for!

With precision and teamwork, they executed the Hog Hunt and swiftly put an end to the boar's lonely life. The thrill of the chase mixed with their shared excitement transformed the night into a memorable conclusion of their adventure.

Embracing the Challenges of Hog Hunting

Hog Hunting is a unique experience that differs significantly from other forms of Hunting. Stalking Wild Hogs in complete darkness presents its own set of challenges: getting close without being detected, aiming accurately at animals that move swiftly, and navigating terrain. With skin that’s tough as armor and the ability to run at speeds up to 20 miles per hour, taking down a Wild Hog is no simple task.

It's easy to underestimate the complexity involved until you're in the thick of it. Mastering The Art of Hunting Wild Hogs requires time, practice, and experience. Unless your name is Megan. Megan’s are just naturally good at everything.

Guided Hog Hunting

Hog Hunting with Guide Hank in Americus, GA

Photo: There’s Nothing Like It @PigProblem

When it comes to the wild world of Hog Hunting, nothing compares to the excitement of a Nighttime Hunting Adventure. Recently, Guide Hank had the pleasure of guiding these two hunters through two unforgettable nights in Americus, GA – it was a trip to remember!

Night 1: The Chase Begins

As the sun set, they made there way to the first field of the night. The air was ripe with anticipation as they spotted two skittish pigs roaming about. Anyone familiar with Hog Hunting knows that persistence is key, and our team was no stranger to that motto. They carefully Tracked the Wild Hogs, maintaining a low profile as they followed them through the field.

After several tense moments, luck was on there side: the Wild Pigs circled back towards them! With steady hands and quick reflexes, they managed to get a shot off, resulting in a successful takedown of one Wild Hog. Victory at its finest!

However, the adventures didn’t stop there. After the initial success, they continued the search but encountered a fallen tree obstructing the path. Rather than letting it halt there excitement, they hopped out of the van and worked together to clear the way.

Photo: I Can’t Believe Hank Moved This Tree @PigProblem

A true testament to the spirit of adventure! Although the night concluded without additional sightings, they returned to get some sleep for night 2 of Wild Hog Hunting. Night 1 was a great success.

Night 2: The Thrill of the Solo Hunt

After a restful night, they geared up for Night 2, ready for another round of Thermal Hog Hunting. As darkness blanketed the fields, Guide Hank spotted three Solo Pigs grazing in the distance. The excitement in the air was palpable!

The Hog Hunt became a game of strategy as Guide Hank positioned them carefully. Just as they were preparing for the shot, a group of deer startled and bolted, causing 2 of the pigs to retreat. Quick-thinking guided them, and focused the sights on the farthest pig. With precise shots, they successfully took it down.

With another successful harvest under there belt, the guys decided to wrap up their Thermal Hunting early and get some sleep before their long drive home. It was the perfect way to end an outstanding couple of nights of Hunting Wild Hogs.

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: Wild Hog Hunting @PigProblem

Guide Capt Clayton recently led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for Pig Problem, where he guided a grandfather and his grandson from Virginia on a Hunting Excursion. The night started off slow, with minimal Pig Sightings, but Guide Capt Clayton's perseverance eventually paid off.

In the early hours of the morning, around 4 am, they finally came across a Lone Hog, and with a well-placed shot, they were able to bring it down. Luckily, the Wild Hog fell at the tree line, making for an easier retrieval. Upon closer inspection, Guide Capt Peanut Protector Clayton noticed that the Wild Hog appeared to have suffered some injuries, with its balls seemingly bitten off and a peculiar tumor on its neck.

Despite the strange appearance of the Wild Pig, the Hunters were not interested in keeping the meat, and Guide Capt Clayton was relieved. The Successful Hunt may have been slow to start, but in the end, they were able to eliminate a Problematic Hog and provide a Memorable Hunting Experience for the grandfather and grandson from Virginia.

Late Night Hog Hunting

Photo: Boy Is Down @PigProblem

Guide Capt Clayton led a Hunt for Pig Problem last night, guiding a Group of Hunters who were eager to experience a Successful Pig Hunt after an experience with another company. These Hunters had previously tried a Hog Hunt with a company called Hog USA, where they sat in a stand for 12 hours without seeing any action.

Determined to make a difference, they turned to Pig Problem to see the contrast between Stand Hog Hunting and Thermal Stalk Hog Hunting. This was a new experience for them, and they were eager to see the results. As they set out on their Hunt, the Hunters displayed amazing patience and perseverance, knowing that success might not come quickly.

After some slow Hunting and a lot of driving, they finally spotted their target. It was the first Pig they had ever managed to kill, a moment of triumph and excitement for the group. Guide Capt Peanut Protector Clayton knew that the key to successful Hog Hunting was to keep looking and moving, as Hogs are Elusive Creatures that require persistence and effort to track down.

The Hunters learned that you can't find Wild Hogs from the comfort of a hotel room; you have to be out in the field, actively searching and pursuing your target. It was a valuable lesson for the group, and a rewarding experience that they would not soon forget. Guide Capt Clayton was proud to have led them on this unforgettable journey, showing them a new approach to Hog Hunting that yielded impressive results.

Full Moon Hog Hunting

Photo: Taking Down Some Piggies @PigProblem

Guide Capt Clayton led a 1-Night Hog Hunt for Pig Problem with a twist – the sun never set that night. Despite the unusual circumstances, they managed to stumble upon two Wild Hogs purely by chance, with zero skill involved in the Stalk or discovery. However, the Hunters in Guide Capt Clayton's Hunting Party made the most of the opportunity presented to them, successfully taking down both Hogs in quick succession.

Reflecting on the night's events, Clayton couldn't help but acknowledge the stroke of luck that had led them to their targets. While their success may not have been the result of careful planning or skillful tracking, the outcome was undeniable – two Hogs Eliminated from the local farmers' land.

As they returned with the Pigs in tow, Clayton expressed his hope that the Hunters he had guided that night would return for more Thermal Hog Hunting adventures in the future. Despite the fortuitous circumstances of this particular Hunt, Clayton knew that there was always more to learn and experience in the world of Hog Hunting, and he looked forward to the opportunity to share his expertise once again with Pig Problem and their eager hunters.
