Guided Night Hog Hunting

Bear Guides Take On Pig Hunting

Pig Problem

Two Nights in the Field with Bear Guides from Maine

Every Hog Hunt is different, and sometimes the Pigs make you work for it. This past Hunting Trip was a 2 Night Hog Hunt with a group of Bear Guides from Maine. The first night was slow, with no Wild Pigs down. But on the second night, things got interesting.

Night One:

Plenty of Ground, No Pigs Down

The first night, we covered a lot of ground but didn’t get the results we were hoping for. That’s just how it goes sometimes—Wild Hogs are unpredictable, and they can disappear when you least expect it. But even without any Hogs on the ground, it was still a good night in the field, and the guys had plenty of stories to share about Guiding Bear hunts in Maine.

Night Two:

The Sounder Appears

The second night, luck turned in our favor. We spotted a Sounder of about 20 to 30 Hogs and made our approach. Moving carefully with the wind right, we closed in to about 100 yards before the Hunters took their shots. Two Wild Hogs went down, though one was just a Small Piglet—not exactly ideal for a trophy photo.

Hunting and Swapping Stories

Even when the Feral Hogs aren’t flooding the fields, the best part of these Thermal Hunts is the experience. These guys were Seasoned Hunters, and it was great to hear all about Bear Hunting up north—how they track and bait, the thrill of a close encounter, and the challenges of guiding in deep woods. It’s always cool to compare different styles of hunting, and this Hog Hunting Trip was a reminder of how much there is to learn from other Hunters.

Book Your Hunt

Not every night is nonstop action, but every Guided Hog Hunt is an adventure. Whether it’s Tracking Pigs through the fields or trading stories under the stars, there’s nothing like a Night Hunt with Pig Problem. If you’re ready to get out there, book your Thermal Hunting Trip today!

Never Give Up:

Two Nights of Hog Hunting with Guide Hank

Boar Head

At Pig Problem, persistence pays off. Hunting Wild Hogs at night is never predictable—some nights, the Pigs are everywhere, and others, they seem to disappear into thin air. But one thing is always true: if you keep at it, the opportunity will come.

Guide Hank recently led a Two-Night Thermal Hunt that tested patience, but in the end, determination won out.

Night 1:

Never Give Up

Hog Hunting

The night started slow. Field after field, the Thermal Scanners came up empty. At times, it looked like the night might end without a single shot fired. But if there’s one thing about Hog Hunting, it’s that things can change in an instant.

On the very last field of the night, a Wild Pig finally stepped out. The team moved into position, but just as they were setting up, a group of deer spooked and bolted. For a second, it looked like the opportunity might slip away—but luck was on their side. The deer ran off in the opposite direction, and the Pig stayed put just long enough for a clean shot. One Hog Down, and what looked like a lost cause turned into a Successful Hunt.

Night 2:

Right Place, Right Time

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: HUGE HOG @PigProblem

The second night started off much like the first. The first field checked was empty, but instead of moving on immediately, the team decided to wait. Sometimes, patience is key.

Just as they were about to leave, movement flickered on the Thermal. Hogs had finally moved in. The Hunters got set up and took their shot, dropping one as the rest of the Sounder scattered into the night. Another great success.

The Thrill of the Hunt

Thermal Hog Hunting is unpredictable, but that’s what makes it so exciting. Every night brings a different challenge, and every Hog Hunt is a reminder that persistence pays off. Whether it’s chasing Wild Hogs across multiple fields or waiting them out in the right spot, the reward is always worth it.

Navigating the Night:

A Tactical Hog Hunt with Guide Hank

At Pig Problem, every Hog Hunt presents new challenges, and our latest 2 Night Hunting Trip was no exception. Guide Hank led a group of five Hunters into the fields, ready for action. While the first night started off slow, patience and strategy paid off in the end.

Hog Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Hog Down @PigProblem

One of the biggest hurdles of the night came when we found ourselves surrounded—not by Hogs, but by a large group of deer. Maneuvering through them without spooking the Wild Hog we were after took some careful planning, but our Hog Hunters pulled it off like pros. The reward? A well-earned kill and a great shot placement on a Solid Pig.

Later in the night, around 2 a.m., another target appeared—a Coyote. One of our hunters took the shot, but the tricky Predator managed to escape, leaving no photo evidence behind. Still, the night was a success, and the team is fired up for round two.

Night 2:

Swirling Winds and Quick Shots

Hank’s second Night of Hunting proved to be another success, with two Pigs Down despite challenging wind conditions.

Wild Hog Hunting

The night started with a visit to the second field, where shifting winds threatened to give us away. As we scanned the area, a Wild Hog caught our scent and began to move off. With quick reaction time, we got a shot off just as it started to run, dropping it before it could escape.

Later in the night, we checked one of the last fields on our route and spotted another Pig. Unfortunately, this one winded us and disappeared into the darkness. Not willing to leave empty-handed, we gave the field another look and found a Small Single Hog lingering behind. This time, the wind worked in our favor, allowing us to take the shot and put it down cleanly.

Despite tricky conditions, the night ended on a high note with two Wild Pigs on the ground—another productive Wild Hog Hunt with Hank leading the way.

Big Night in the Fields:

Three Hogs Down with Guide Clayton

Some Hog Hunts just hit different. That was the case for a recent group who booked a 1 Night Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, led by none other than Guide Clayton. When the night was over, three Wild Hogs were down, and the crew was already making plans to return next year.

As Clayton put it, “Guys were cool as crap, and they’ll be back next year—I’m already excited. I already got a review from these guys for the hunt. Bbbbballin.”

That’s the kind of Thermal Hunt we live for. When the conditions are right, the teamwork is solid, and the action is nonstop, it’s a recipe for a killer night in the fields. Wild Pigs don’t stand a chance when you’ve got Top-Tier Thermal Gear, Expert Hunting Guides, and a group that knows how to send rounds downrange.

Late-Night Success:

A Two-Night Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton

Hog Hunting is always an adventure, but some Hog Hunts stand out as particularly memorable. That was the case for Glenn and Erik, two Returning Hunters who joined Guide Clayton for another action-packed Two-Night Thermal Hunt with Pig Problem. Having Hunted with Clayton the previous year, they knew they were in for a good time—and the results did not disappoint.

Night One:

Off to a Strong Start

Hog Hunting

Photo: Boar Down @PigProblem

From the start, it was clear that Glenn and Erik were excited to be back in the fields, ready to take down some Hogs. Their first night out, the trio worked together to track a group of pigs in the fields, using their Thermal Equipment to scan the landscape. With a well-placed shot, they put a solid Wild Boar on the ground, kicking off the Boar Hunt on a high note.

For these guys, it wasn’t just about the Hunt—it was about the experience. Wild Hog Hunting alongside a guide they already knew and trusted made the night feel less like a Guided Hunting Trip and more like a hunt with old friends.

Night Two:

A Hunt to Remember

The second night turned into an endurance test, pushing well into the early morning hours. In a now-familiar pattern, the Wild Hog Hunt stretched all the way to 5 AM, proving once again that patience and persistence pay off in Thermal Hog Hunting.

The wind was not in their favor, blowing directly toward the Pigs from the van. Knowing they had to adjust their strategy, Clayton and the Hunters made a quick decision—they booked it across the field in a last-ditch effort to get into a better position. Clayton climbed onto a pivot to get a better vantage point, hoping the Wild Pigs hadn’t moved. Miraculously, they were still right where they had been, offering the perfect opportunity for a clean shot.

But this Thermal Hunt wasn’t just about strategy and skill—it also came with some unexpected humor. As the team settled into position, the silence of the night was suddenly interrupted. One of the Hunters, unintentionally lightened the mood, causing a brief but hilarious pause in the action. Holding in their laughter was almost as difficult as the stalk itself, but once they regained composure, they got back to business and successfully dropped two Wild Hogs before the night was over.

The Thrill of the Hunt

For Glenn and Erik, we hope this Hunting Trip was more than just another Pig Hunt—it was a chance to return to the fields, enjoy the challenge, and create new memories. For Clayton, it was another reminder of why he loves Guiding Hunts. He might joke that luck plays a big role in his success, but his ability to adapt, make quick decisions, and keep the hunt fun and engaging is what keeps Hog Hunters coming back year after year.

These two hunters have already made it clear—they’ll be back next year for another Unforgettable Hunt. Until then, the Farm Fields of Georgia will keep calling, and the hogs will keep running. But not for long.

A Father-Son Hunt to Remember:

The Highs and Lows of Thermal Hog Hunting

Hog Hunting is unpredictable. That’s what makes it a challenge - and what makes it so rewarding. Guide Clayton recently took a father and son out for a two-night Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, and let’s just say, it was a rollercoaster from start to finish.

Night One:

The Waiting Game

The first night? Brutal. Not a single Pig in sight. They covered miles of farmland, scanning fields and checking hot spots, but the hogs weren’t moving. This sudden weather shift - from 70-degree days to freezing nights - had the Pigs acting strange. It was a tough pill to swallow, but that’s part of the Hog Hunt. If it were easy, it wouldn’t be Hunting.

Night Two:

A Test of Patience and Grit

With nothing to show for their first night, the group pushed even harder on night two. Hour after hour, field after field - still nothing. The frustration was real, but so was the determination.

By 5 AM, after nearly 22 hours of Wild Hog Hunting over two nights, they hit their last field. And finally — Wild Pigs!

The moment they had been grinding for finally arrived. The father and son lined up their shots, and when the time was right, they dropped a Massive Hog. After a long, Grueling Hunt, they got their reward.

The Name of the Game

Clayton, who had been running on fumes, could finally sleep like a baby. That’s the reality of Pig Hunting - sometimes it’s fast and furious, other times it’s a battle of endurance. The Wild Hogs don’t make it easy, especially when the weather throws them off. But that’s why we do it.

At Pig Problem Inc, we don’t just chase hogs - we hunt them. And when it all comes together, there’s nothing like it.

Face Paint, Rabbits, Possums, and a Pig

A Night Hunt with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, we believe in making every Hog Hunt an Unforgettable Hunting Experience - not just for the action, but for the stories that come with it. On a recent 1 Night Hog Hunt, Guide Clayton took two Hunters out for some Thermal Hog Hunting, but the night started with a little extra fun.

The Face Paint Tradition

Hunting Face Paint

Photo: Face Paint Done, Ready For The Piggies @PigProblem

Guide Zev has a habit of telling his Hog Hunters to wear Hunting Face Paint, and for this hunt, Clayton decided to join in on the tradition. During range time - where all the guides go over safety and firearm handling with New Hunters - Clayton, Zev, and their groups all geared up with face paint together. After some laughs and a solid safety briefing, the guides split off for their separate hunts.

A Wild Night in the Fields

Hog Hunting

Photo: Got Em @PigProblem

Clayton’s Wild Hog Hunt turned into more than just a Hog Pursuit. With pew pews in hand and Thermals locked on, the Wild Hog Hunters ended up with an unexpected mix of critters. The night tally? One hog, two possums, and Clayton himself taking down two rabbits along the way.

While the goal is always putting hunters on pigs, the unpredictable nature of Night Hunting means you never know what might cross your path. Whether it’s a Hog, a Coyote, or even a Rabbit in the wrong place at the wrong time, every Guided Hog Hunt is an adventure.

The Highs and Lows of a 2-Night Hog Hunt

Hog Hunting

Hog Hunting is always an adventure, and every Wild Hog Hunt brings a new challenge. Recently, Guide Clayton led a 2-Night Thermal Hog Hunt, giving his Hunters the full experience of Tracking Wild Hogs under the cover of darkness.

Night 1:

Success in the Field

The first night proved to be a productive one, as the team successfully Harvested a Hog. Using Thermal Equipment and strategic Hunting Stalking Techniques, they got into position for a clean shot, securing a hard-earned success. There’s nothing quite like the rush of spotting a hog in the dark and making the shot count!

Night 2:

The Quiet Side of Hunting

The second night was a different story. Despite covering ground and scanning the fields, no Hogs were spotted, and no shots were fired. It’s a reminder that Wild Hog Hunting isn’t always predictable—sometimes, the Wild Pigs stay just out of reach. But that’s what makes the hunt so exciting. You never know what the next outing will bring!

Every Guided Hog Hunt with Pig Problem is a Unique Hunting Experience, and whether it’s a night full of action or a test of patience, our guides are dedicated to giving Hog Hunters an unforgettable time in the field.

Some Hog Hunts stand out not just for the number of Hogs taken but for the way they go down. When Guide Zev took four Hunters out for a 2 Night Hunt run, he knew pretty quick - these guys were locked in.

That’s about as high a compliment as you’ll get from him. And it was well-earned.

Over two nights, the team dropped five Wild Hogs. The wind was a problem, shifting when it wasn’t supposed to, costing them some opportunities. But that’s Hog Hunting - adapt or go home. These guys stayed on point, made their shots count, and got it done.

If you want to see what a real Thermal Hog Hunt looks like, book your Hunting Trip with Pig Problem. Bring your A-game, and maybe - just maybe - you’ll get Zev’s seal of approval too.

Thermal Hog Hunting Adventures in Georgia

Photo: They Got One!! @PigProblem

When it comes to Hog Hunting, few experiences rival the thrill of chasing Wild Hogs under the cover of darkness with state-of-the-art Thermal Technology. At PigProblem, Inc., our mission is to provide a Hunting Adventure while helping farmers control the destructive wild hog population that wreaks havoc on their land.

Guide Clayton recently wrapped up a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and his group took to the fields of South Georgia for a chance to bag Wild Hogs. While these clever animals put up quite a challenge, the team successfully harvested one Hog during the Hunt. Wild Hogs are notoriously intelligent and elusive, and every Wild Hog Hunt is a test of patience, skill, and persistence.

The Challenge and Reward of Hog Hunting

Wild Hog Hunting isn’t easy - and that’s exactly why we love it. Some nights, you might spot Dozens of Hogs, while other nights, they seem to disappear entirely. Even when you see a bunch of Wild Pigs, the wind might shift at the wrong moment. A single whiff of human scent, and they’re gone, running into the darkness before you can take a shot.

Hogs are smart, cautious, and always on high alert, which makes Hunting them one of the most challenging pursuits in the field. But it’s that very challenge that keeps us coming back night after night. It’s the thrill of the chase, the rush of Spotting a Hog through the Thermal Equipment, and the satisfaction of outsmarting one of the most elusive animals in the wild.

Why Choose Thermal Hog Hunting?

Thermal Hog Hunting gives Hog Hunters a unique advantage. With cutting-edge Thermal op-tic-s, we can detect the heat signatures of hogs in complete darkness, making it easier to locate and track them in the Farm Fields of South Georgia. This technology doesn’t make the Guided Hog Hunt easy - but it levels the playing field in a way that’s fair and exciting.

Whether you’re a Seasoned Hunter or new to the sport, our Hunting Guides are here to help you navigate every step of the process. From spotting hogs to lining up the perfect shot, we’re committed to making sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and Unforgettable Hunting Experience.

A Hunt That Makes a Difference

Pig Hunting isn’t just a Thrilling Hunting Adventure - it’s a vital conservation effort. Wild Hogs are an Invasive Species that cause millions of dollars in damage to crops, property, and native ecosystems every year. By Hunting them, we’re helping farmers protect their land and controlling the spread of this destructive animal.

Are You Ready for the Challenge?

Wild Pig Hunting is hard. It’s unpredictable, demanding, and not every night will end with a Trophy Boar. But that’s what makes it special. At Pig Problem, we embrace the challenge because we know it’s worth it - for the land, for the farmers, and for the thrill of the hunt.

If you’re ready to experience the excitement of Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia, we’re here to guide you. Contact us today to book your next Hunting Trip and discover why we’re so passionate about what we do.
