Night Hunting in Georgia

Georgia Hog Hunting

Pig Problem

Two Nights of Hogs, Coyotes, and Good Times

A Hunt to Remember

Guide Hank led the charge on a 2 Night Hog Hunt packed with action, laughs, and a few surprises. From spotting a massive group of pigs just out of reach to chasing one determined hog over a hill, this trip had all the makings of a classic Pig Problem Adventure.

Night One:

Off to a Strong Start

Hog Hunting

The Hog Hunt kicked off with success in the very first field. We got into motion on a Sounder and walked away with three pigs in new homes. After gathering the everything, we continued the search—covering ground and scanning fields through thermal equipment.

At one point, we spotted a huge group of hogs, but they were just beyond our boundary. Still, watching them move through the fields was a thrill in itself. As the night wound down, we managed to add one more unexpected bonus to the list—a Coyote spotted and tracked before heading back in for the night.

Night Two:

One Hog, One Hill, and a Lot of Laughs

Boar Hunting

The second night brought a change of pace. As Hank put it, “What’s better than beer and hot glass?” (he is talking about Americus Ga Beer Fest) While there may be a few contenders, it’s hard to top a good night under the stars Thermal Hunting.

We ended up working for a Single Pig that didn’t get re-homed easy. It made a break for it over a hill, and we followed with a mix of anticipation and excitement, not knowing what we’d find. Sure enough, the effort paid off—we found our prize and got some great photos to wrap up the night. Very thankful to relocate this Piggy.

Another Successful Adventure

This Wild Hog Hunt had everything: quick action, good people, great laughs, and the kind of moments that stick with you long after the night ends. Whether you’re Hunting Pigs or just soaking in the full experience, a Hunt with Pig Problem always delivers.

Hunting In Georgia

Pig Problem

Two Nights of Chaos, Calm, and Connection

A Memorable Hunt with Capt. Clayton

Not every Hog Hunt is about filling the cooler. For some folks, it’s about the full experience—the thrill of the stalk, the stillness of the night, the laughter, the challenges, and the stories that come out of it all. That’s exactly what this 2-Night Hog Hunt with Peanut Protector Capt. Clayton was about.

Night One:

Quiet Fields and Missed Chances

The first night was all about patience and persistence. We moved through the darkness with high hopes, but despite three stalks and plenty of effort, the Pigs managed to stay just out of reach. No opportunities, no close encounters—just quiet fields, long walks, and a chance to soak in the calm side of the Wild Hog Hunt.

While the action was slow, the energy of the group never faded. These hunters were out there for more than just results—they were soaking in every moment, taking in the sights, the sounds, and the full experience of Hunting Wild Hogs at Night.

Night Two:

A Little Chaos and a Lot of Fun

The second night brought a shift in momentum. We had two exciting stalks that brought us in close, and the team was ready. The first opportunity came out of nowhere—sparked by a moment of confusion over changed names in the OnX app—and just like that, the night turned around.

It was a night full of action, laughs, and the kind of adrenaline that keeps you coming back for more. As Capt. Clayton put it, “I love chaos just as much as I love calmness.” That balance—the extreme highs and lows—is what makes Hunting so real and rewarding.

It’s About More Than Just the Hunt

This Hunting Trip was a reminder that success in the field isn’t measured by numbers alone. It’s about the people, the moments, and the memories made along the way. And with this group, every mile walked and every minute spent under the stars was worth it.

Tracking Down Success:

A Two-Night Hunt with Guide Clayton

Photo: Hunting Wild Hogs @PigProblem

Hog Hunting is never guaranteed—that’s why they’re Wild Hogs. Every Hog Hunt is different, and sometimes, success comes down to patience, persistence, and putting in the work.

Guide Capt Clayton recently led a 2 Night Hog Hunt that was the perfect example of this. The first night was quiet, with no Hogs in sight despite hours of searching and covering plenty of ground. But that’s part of the challenge—some nights the Pigs move, and some nights they don’t.

The second night, everything changed. After scanning the fields and staying on the move, the team finally spotted a group of eight hogs. It was exactly what they had been looking for, and after making their move, they had the proof of a Successful Hunt.

No matter what you’re Hunting, success isn’t always measured by the number —it’s about finding what you came for. The challenge, the chase, and the reward of a hard-earned recovery are what make Wild Hog Hunting so exciting.

Hunting Report:

Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Clayon

Thermal Hog Hunting

At Pig Problem, we’ve seen just about everything on a Hunt. Wild Hogs are unpredictable, the terrain can be challenging. Guide Clayton recently led a Hog Hunt that started with some unexpected challenges and ended with a banger in Wild Hog Hunting.

A Hunt to Remember

The first field of the night gave us a quick opportunity—a Single Pig stepped out, and thankfully, it was just 200 yards from the Hunting Van. Dennis was an incredible guy and his family—positive, determined, and just happy to be out there. And when that Pig presented itself, the group made it count. One chance, one Hog. Unfortunately, that was the only Wild Pig we saw all night. After covering multiple Farm Felds and scanning every likely spot, the Wild Hogs just weren’t cooperating.

After a slow first night, the second night had to be better… right?

Wrong. The Pigs had vanished. We hit as many spots we could, scanning with thermal, watching tree lines, and hoping for even a glimpse of movement. But the fields were empty, and the night ended without a single pig was relocated to a new home. Some nights are like that. Hogs are smart—they move constantly, and when they don’t want to be found, they won’t be.

The Hunt Goes On

The Thermal Hog Hunt was an experience to remember. That’s the reality of Wild Hog Hunting—every night is different, and you never know what you’re going to get. Whether it’s a Sounder in the perfect spot or a night of tracking ghosts, it’s always an adventure.Thankfully there was no ghost pigs.

If you’re ready to take your chance—no matter what the night throws at you—book a Hunt with Pig Problem today!

When you book a hunt with Pig Problem, you’re signing up for an experience like no other - Stalking Wild Hogs under the cover of darkness, Scanning Fields Through High-Tech Thermal, and putting your skills to the test against one of the smartest, toughest animals in the South.

Recently, Guide Capt Clayton led a group of 5 Hunters on a Two-Night Hunting Adventure through the farmlands of Americus, Georgia. With clear skies and cool temperatures, conditions were looking good for some solid Wild Hog Action.

Night One:

Success in the Field

The first night kicked off strong. After a short briefing and a few practice chances to get comfortable with the gear, the Hunters loaded up and rolled out under the glow of a rising moon. It didn’t take long to find a Hog .

Patience paid off when the team spotted movement in the distance. A Quick Stalk brought them within range, and with a well-placed chance from 400 yards away, they had their first Wild Hog relocated to a new home. Cheers and handshakes followed, along with a few photos to capture the moment. With the night still young, the group pressed on, but the Pigs proved elusive for the rest of the Wild Hog Hunt.

Night Two:

The Challenge of the Hunt

The second night brought new challenges. Despite covering a lot of ground and spotting a few promising heat signatures, the Wild Pigs just weren’t cooperating. Sometimes they stayed just out of range, other times they vanished before a stalk could happen.

By 1 a.m., the group made the call to wrap up early. That’s the reality of Hog Hunting - Wild Animals sow a script. Some nights they’re everywhere, and others, they play hard to get. But that’s what makes it exciting.

A Hunt to Remember

Even without a second-night harvest, the experience is one to remember. The Hog Hunters got to put their skills to the test, see the land through a Thermal Equipment, and share the highs and lows of the Hog Hunt with good company. That’s what it’s all about - camaraderie, adventure, and the thrill of the chase.

When it comes to Wild Hog Hunting, few experiences can match the thrill and challenge of a Night Hunt. Our recent 2 Night Hunting Excursion led by our expert guide, Kevin, was nothing short of exhilarating. With his keen expertise and tactical approach, our team successfully took down two Wild Hogs, showcasing the effectiveness of Thermal Hunting technology and our commitment to managing local Wild Hog Populations.

The Thrill of Thermal Hunting

Photo: Hog Hunting @PigProblem

Thermal Imaging Technology has transformed the way we approach Hog Hunting. As the sun sets and darkness envelops the landscape, Thermal Gear allow Hunters to see in complete darkness, picking up the heat emitted from Hogs’ bodies. This technology greatly enhances our chances of locating and tracking these Elusive Creatures. During our recent Guided Hog Hunt, the combination of experienced guidance and high-tech equipment made for a Memorable Hunting Experience, as we stalked the night, guided by the warm signatures of our quarry against the cool backdrop of the woods.

Why Hunting Hogs is Crucial for Farmers

The importance of Hunting Wild Hogs cannot be overstated, especially for farmers and landowners. Feral Hog Populations have exploded in recent years, causing significant Damage to Crops, livestock, and property. These Invasive Animals are notorious for rooting through fields, trampling crops, and even attacking livestock. As a result, farmers face considerable economic losses each year due to Hog Activity.

Regular Hunting serves as a vital tool in Managing Hog Populations, mitigating the risks associated with their presence. By actively Hunting Hogs, we can help Preserve Local Ecosystems and Maintain Agricultural Productivity.

The evening began with an early start, where the Hunters quickly got on the trail of their quarry. After a long and strategic stalk, it became evident that the Pigs were aware of their presence and made their way into the trees.

A Hog Hunting Adventure

Exciting Nights with Guide Hank

This past weekend, Pig Problem had the pleasure of hosting a thrilling 2 Night Hog Hunt led by the ever-charismatic Guide Hank. The adventure was packed with unexpected turns and plenty of memorable moments that the Hunters won’t forget.

Night 1: A Successful Start

Photo: What A Shot @PigProblem

The first night set the stage for an exciting experience. As the night unfolded, Guide Hank demonstrated his expertise in both Wild Hog Hunting and wildlife management... The night took an exhilarating turn when they successfully shot a Hog. Then they spotted a Coyote and took him out. “Spay and neuter is more humane than taking down these coyotes. But we did both cause we’re efficient. We killed that coyote and shot its d**k clean off.” This humorously efficient approach to wildlife management resulted in a "great success" on the first night, setting an energetic tone for the Hog Hunt.

Night 2: A Night of Challenges

On the second night, the team was ready for more action. Unfortunately, as luck would have it, the conditions were not in their favor. Hank reported that it was a "dandy night," filled with excitement and anticipation; however, the Hog Hunters faced a bit of a dry spell when it came to spotting Wild Pigs. Despite their best efforts and a strong desire to continue their Thermal Hunt, the Pigs seemed to have other plans, leaving the team without any photos or victory shots for the night. The Hunters expressed their gratitude for the experience, acknowledging Hank's dedication and expertise even if the Wild Hogs eluded them this time.

As their 2 Night Hunting Trip came to a close, the team left with a mix of memorable stories and the thrill of the Wild Hog Hunt lingering in their minds.

The Pig Problem Inc team hopes all participants had a fantastic time during their Thermal Hog Hunting experience, and we look forward to welcoming them back for more Hunting Adventures in the future! Happy hunting until next time!
