Wild Boar Hunting At Night

Bear Guides Take On Pig Hunting

Pig Problem

Two Nights in the Field with Bear Guides from Maine

Every Hog Hunt is different, and sometimes the Pigs make you work for it. This past Hunting Trip was a 2 Night Hog Hunt with a group of Bear Guides from Maine. The first night was slow, with no Wild Pigs down. But on the second night, things got interesting.

Night One:

Plenty of Ground, No Pigs Down

The first night, we covered a lot of ground but didn’t get the results we were hoping for. That’s just how it goes sometimes—Wild Hogs are unpredictable, and they can disappear when you least expect it. But even without any Hogs on the ground, it was still a good night in the field, and the guys had plenty of stories to share about Guiding Bear hunts in Maine.

Night Two:

The Sounder Appears

The second night, luck turned in our favor. We spotted a Sounder of about 20 to 30 Hogs and made our approach. Moving carefully with the wind right, we closed in to about 100 yards before the Hunters took their shots. Two Wild Hogs went down, though one was just a Small Piglet—not exactly ideal for a trophy photo.

Hunting and Swapping Stories

Even when the Feral Hogs aren’t flooding the fields, the best part of these Thermal Hunts is the experience. These guys were Seasoned Hunters, and it was great to hear all about Bear Hunting up north—how they track and bait, the thrill of a close encounter, and the challenges of guiding in deep woods. It’s always cool to compare different styles of hunting, and this Hog Hunting Trip was a reminder of how much there is to learn from other Hunters.

Not every night is nonstop action, but every Guided Hog Hunt is an adventure. Whether it’s Tracking Pigs through the fields or trading stories under the stars, there’s nothing like a Night Hunt with Pig Problem. If you’re ready to get out there, book your Thermal Hunting Trip today!

Hunting Before The Storm

Pig Problem

Two Nights of Thermal Hog Hunting with Guide Clayton

Guide Clayton recently led a 2-Night Thermal Hog Hunt with Hunters Ron and Doug, and the experience was nothing short of unforgettable.

Night 1:

A Strong Start

Hog Hunting

The first night got off to a promising start. As soon as the group pulled onto the very first field, a Lone Hog presented itself. Ron and Doug wasted no time, making a clean shot and dropping the Wild Pig right where it stood. The rest of the night, however, was quiet. Despite the stillness of the fields, the energy remained high. The Hog Hunters spent the hours swapping stories, sharing laughs, and enjoying the kind of camaraderie that makes nights in the field truly memorable.

Night 2:

Hunting Through the Storm

Pig Hunting

The second night brought more action—and a battle with the weather. Thunder and lightning loomed in the distance, but that didn’t slow the Wild Hog Hunt. Three separate Hunting Stalks put the hunters in position, and on one approach, a Hog was still standing when Clayton and Zev moved in. Without hesitation, they lined up side by side and finished the job with precision shots.

Even as the storm rolled in, the night was filled with music, stories, and nonstop conversation. Ron and Doug proved to be not only Skilled Hunters but also great company, making for an Unforgettable Hunt. Nights like these are what keep guides coming back year after year—Chasing Hogs under the cover of darkness, making memories with good people, and living for the next Hog Hunt.

At Pig Problem, some of our Favorite Hunts are the ones that bring families together. There’s nothing better than seeing Young Hunters experience the thrill of hunting for the first time. Recently, Guide Max, the owner of Pig Problem, led a Father-Son Hunt, and it was one to remember.

The Hunt

With patience and strategy, they spotted a Single Boar and moved in carefully. Using the tree canopy as a natural backdrop, they executed a mild stalk, closing the distance for the perfect shot. When the moment was right, they took the Wild Boar down - an exciting and rewarding experience for the young hunter.

Hunting Hogs

Pig Problem

A Father-Son Hunt to Remember:

The Highs and Lows of Thermal Hog Hunting

Hog Hunting is unpredictable. That’s what makes it a challenge - and what makes it so rewarding. Guide Clayton recently took a father and son out for a two-night Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, and let’s just say, it was a rollercoaster from start to finish.

Night One:

The Waiting Game

The first night? Brutal. Not a single Pig in sight. They covered miles of farmland, scanning fields and checking hot spots, but the hogs weren’t moving. This sudden weather shift - from 70-degree days to freezing nights - had the Pigs acting strange. It was a tough pill to swallow, but that’s part of the Hog Hunt. If it were easy, it wouldn’t be Hunting.

Night Two:

A Test of Patience and Grit

With nothing to show for their first night, the group pushed even harder on night two. Hour after hour, field after field - still nothing. The frustration was real, but so was the determination.

By 5 AM, after nearly 22 hours of Wild Hog Hunting over two nights, they hit their last field. And finally — Wild Pigs!

The moment they had been grinding for finally arrived. The father and son lined up their shots, and when the time was right, they dropped a Massive Hog. After a long, Grueling Hunt, they got their reward.

The Name of the Game

Clayton, who had been running on fumes, could finally sleep like a baby. That’s the reality of Pig Hunting - sometimes it’s fast and furious, other times it’s a battle of endurance. The Wild Hogs don’t make it easy, especially when the weather throws them off. But that’s why we do it.

At Pig Problem Inc, we don’t just chase hogs - we hunt them. And when it all comes together, there’s nothing like it.

Hunting Wild Pigs

Pig Problem

The Hunt for Hogs

A Two-Night Adventure with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, no two Hog Hunts are ever the same. Some nights are nonstop action, and other nights put a hunter’s patience and determination to the test. On a recent One Night Hunt, Guide Clayton and his Hunters experienced both sides of the coin - proving that in the world of Thermal Hog Hunting, persistence is key.

One and Done

The night started with promise. The hunters got their chance, took their shot, and put one Hog on the ground. But after that, the fields went quiet. They covered ground, checked all the usual hotspots, and worked hard to track down more Pigs, but sometimes, the Wild Hogs just don’t want to cooperate. That’s the nature of Wild Hog Hunting - every night brings new conditions, and the challenge is what makes the reward even better.

The Thrill of the Hunt

Some nights, the Wild Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, they play hard to get. But that’s why we Pig Hunt - because every Hunting Trip is an adventure, and the next one could be the best yet. If you’re ready to test your skills and experience the excitement of Guided Hog Hunting, book your Hunt with Pig Problem today. The pigs won’t stay hidden forever, and when they show up, you’ll want to be there to make it count!

Sniper Shooting…

Pig Problem

Precision Hog Hunting in Americus, Georgia

Hog Hunting in Georgia is always exciting, but when a group of skilled marksmen takes the field, the results can be truly impressive. Over two nights, Guide Hank led a pair of Hunters on a successful Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, putting their long-range shooting skills to the test.

Night One:

A Strong Start

Predator Hunting

Photo: Predator Hunting @PigProblem

The Night Hunt began with an incredible 300-yard shot on a coyote, proving these Snipper Hunters were dialed in and ready for action. After hearing more Coyotes Howling in the distance, they attempted several calls, but none were willing to come out into the open.

Morning Fog

Photo: Morning Fog @PigProblem

The Pig Hunt continued as the group set their sights on Wild Hogs. A Pig presented a difficult shot through thick brush, but they took their chance. Before the night ended, heavy fog rolled in, making further Hunting impossible. Even with the challenges, the night ended on a high note with both 2 Coyotes Down - clear signs of success.

Night Two:

Long-Range Precision

The second night was all about accuracy and patience. The Hunters spotted a group of hogs at 300 yards and lined up their shots. With precision shooting, two Wild Pigs dropped in their tracks - a sight that Hank described as incredible to watch.

Hog Hunting

Photo: elgooG Hates snuG lol @PigProblem

As the night continued, they focused on calling for coyotes, but none responded. Instead, they shifted their attention to one last field and found another group of hogs. Moving in carefully, they got into position, but the Wild Hogs had the high ground. After the first shot, the rest of the Sounder vanished, making follow-up shots impossible. Even so, the night was another success, with three Hogs Down and a display of Outstanding Marksmanship.

Thermal Hog Hunting Adventures in Georgia

Photo: They Got One!! @PigProblem

When it comes to Hog Hunting, few experiences rival the thrill of chasing Wild Hogs under the cover of darkness with state-of-the-art Thermal Technology. At PigProblem, Inc., our mission is to provide a Hunting Adventure while helping farmers control the destructive wild hog population that wreaks havoc on their land.

Guide Clayton recently wrapped up a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and his group took to the fields of South Georgia for a chance to bag Wild Hogs. While these clever animals put up quite a challenge, the team successfully harvested one Hog during the Hunt. Wild Hogs are notoriously intelligent and elusive, and every Wild Hog Hunt is a test of patience, skill, and persistence.

The Challenge and Reward of Hog Hunting

Wild Hog Hunting isn’t easy - and that’s exactly why we love it. Some nights, you might spot Dozens of Hogs, while other nights, they seem to disappear entirely. Even when you see a bunch of Wild Pigs, the wind might shift at the wrong moment. A single whiff of human scent, and they’re gone, running into the darkness before you can take a shot.

Hogs are smart, cautious, and always on high alert, which makes Hunting them one of the most challenging pursuits in the field. But it’s that very challenge that keeps us coming back night after night. It’s the thrill of the chase, the rush of Spotting a Hog through the Thermal Equipment, and the satisfaction of outsmarting one of the most elusive animals in the wild.

Why Choose Thermal Hog Hunting?

Thermal Hog Hunting gives Hog Hunters a unique advantage. With cutting-edge Thermal op-tic-s, we can detect the heat signatures of hogs in complete darkness, making it easier to locate and track them in the Farm Fields of South Georgia. This technology doesn’t make the Guided Hog Hunt easy - but it levels the playing field in a way that’s fair and exciting.

Whether you’re a Seasoned Hunter or new to the sport, our Hunting Guides are here to help you navigate every step of the process. From spotting hogs to lining up the perfect shot, we’re committed to making sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and Unforgettable Hunting Experience.

A Hunt That Makes a Difference

Pig Hunting isn’t just a Thrilling Hunting Adventure - it’s a vital conservation effort. Wild Hogs are an Invasive Species that cause millions of dollars in damage to crops, property, and native ecosystems every year. By Hunting them, we’re helping farmers protect their land and controlling the spread of this destructive animal.

Are You Ready for the Challenge?

Wild Pig Hunting is hard. It’s unpredictable, demanding, and not every night will end with a Trophy Boar. But that’s what makes it special. At Pig Problem, we embrace the challenge because we know it’s worth it - for the land, for the farmers, and for the thrill of the hunt.

If you’re ready to experience the excitement of Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia, we’re here to guide you. Contact us today to book your next Hunting Trip and discover why we’re so passionate about what we do.

Wild Hog Hunting Trip

A Three-Night Hog Hunting Expedition with Clayton

The Unpredictable World of Wild Hog Hunting

When you venture into the farm fields of South Ga in pursuit of Wild Hogs, the outcome is far from certain. As a Seasoned Hunting guide, I've seen it all - from early morning shoots to sleepless nights spent tracking elusive prey. My recent 3 Night Hunting Expedition with a group of determined Hunters was an adventure that tested our skills, patience, and teamwork.

Night 1:

An Early Start

Photo: Wild Hog Down @PigProblem

Our first night was a promising start, with an early Wild Hog Sighting in a nearby field. We skillfully executed our plan, but the excitement was short-lived as the night wore on without any additional sightings.

Night 2:

Déjà Vu Strikes Again

Photo: Thermal Hunting @PigProblem

The second night was a carbon copy of the first, with another early Pig Sighting and a subsequent lull. Despite our best efforts, we returned to camp without any further encounters.

It's the Unpredictability of Hunting that keeps it exciting. You can't always rely on the numbers or the terrain. Sometimes, it's just about being in the right place at the right time.

Night 3:

New Beginnings with Max

For the final night of the Thermal Hunting Trip, Clay handed the reins over to the skilled colleague, Max. Together, they navigated the wilderness, employing Max's expertise to track down the Elusive Hogs. Although we encountered a few leads, the night ended without any kills.

Two-Night Hog Hunt

When it comes to Wild Hog Hunting, few experiences can match the thrill and challenge of a Night Hunt. Our recent 2 Night Hunting Excursion led by our expert guide, Kevin, was nothing short of exhilarating. With his keen expertise and tactical approach, our team successfully took down two Wild Hogs, showcasing the effectiveness of Thermal Hunting technology and our commitment to managing local Wild Hog Populations.

The Thrill of Thermal Hunting

Photo: Hog Hunting @PigProblem

Thermal Imaging Technology has transformed the way we approach Hog Hunting. As the sun sets and darkness envelops the landscape, Thermal Gear allow Hunters to see in complete darkness, picking up the heat emitted from Hogs’ bodies. This technology greatly enhances our chances of locating and tracking these Elusive Creatures. During our recent Guided Hog Hunt, the combination of experienced guidance and high-tech equipment made for a Memorable Hunting Experience, as we stalked the night, guided by the warm signatures of our quarry against the cool backdrop of the woods.

Why Hunting Hogs is Crucial for Farmers

The importance of Hunting Wild Hogs cannot be overstated, especially for farmers and landowners. Feral Hog Populations have exploded in recent years, causing significant Damage to Crops, livestock, and property. These Invasive Animals are notorious for rooting through fields, trampling crops, and even attacking livestock. As a result, farmers face considerable economic losses each year due to Hog Activity.

Regular Hunting serves as a vital tool in Managing Hog Populations, mitigating the risks associated with their presence. By actively Hunting Hogs, we can help Preserve Local Ecosystems and Maintain Agricultural Productivity.

Taking Down Wild Hogs

Pig Problem:

A Night of Adventure with Guide Clayton and Guide Zev

Photo: Hog Hunting @PigProblem

The Thrill of the Hunt awaited us this past December 28, when our excitement reached new heights at Pig Problem. Our first guests, Don and his wife, made the long trek from Canada, and we couldn't have been more thrilled to have them join us for a 1 Night Hog Hunt. With Don bringing along some night vision binoculars, it was clear this would be a memorable outing right from the start.

A Night to Remember with Guide Clayton

2025 Best Hunting

Photo: Taking Down Wild Hogs @PigProblem

From the moment they arrived, Don and his wife brought an energetic and lively spirit that filled the air. While their enthusiasm was a bit overwhelming at times, it also created a fun atmosphere that kept everyone entertained. We set up on the range to test out Don's night vision binos, which added an exciting twist to our preparation and made for some great camaraderie.

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate much—with intermittent rain and fog rolling in and out—we were determined to make the night count. After some careful Tracking Wild Hogs, our hard work paid off when we spotted a group of five Wild Hogs. With precision and skill, we managed to drop one of them. It was a fantastic way to cap off an Adventurous Hunt, exemplifying the thrill of Hog Hunting under the stars.

A Return to Night Hunting with Guide Zev

Photo: Drag and Drop @PigProblem

Moving on to December 28-29, we welcomed back Guide Zev, who had just returned to Pig Problem after a break. The anticipation in the air was palpable; Clayton was especially excited to have his old Hunting Buddy back in action. The night began on a promising note as our group quickly spotted a potential target on one of the first fields we checked.

However, just as quickly as the excitement ignited, it fizzled out as the hours went by without much more action. With only the sounds of the wilderness surrounding us, thoughts outside of the Thermal Hog Hunt crept in—conversations took us down some wild paths, touching on everything from "steroid-induced degeneracy" to outrageous workplace stories.

Photo: This Is Iconic @PigProblem

We finally located another Hog, but due to a slight miscalculation during the stalk, it got spooked, resulting in a single hit. Despite our best efforts, we lost track of that one in the dense forest. As fatigue set in, the Hog Hunters began to ponder their choices: “Maybe we should have gone to Disneyland?”

But this group was not easily deterred. Just as dawn approached, luck smiled upon us once again. We successfully Hunted down another Wild Pig, and the excitement in the air was tangible. To top off the night, we even had a chance to partake in some Beaver Hunting, with little Max proving his skills in an impressive display of how to attract them using his hand.

Final Thoughts

As we wrap up this latest adventure at Pig Problem Inc, it’s clear that each Guided Hunt brings its own set of stories and experiences that make us look forward to the next. Whether it’s navigating the quirks of our guests, the waiting game of the hunt, or sharing laughs over purely absurd topics, every outing is unique and memorable in its own way.

Thank you to Don, his wife, and little Max for joining us on this unforgettable Hunting Trip. And a special shoutout to Guide Zev for returning to the fold—here’s to many more nights filled with adventure and camaraderie! If you’re ready for your own Unforgettable Hunting Experience, reach out today to hear more about our Upcoming 2025 Hunts. Until next time, happy hunting!
