As Seasoned Hunters, Jeff and Vance know their way around the Hog Hunts, and it’s always an exhilarating experience to have them join us for a Thermal Hunt. The nights unfolded with excitement as we ventured into the heart of Hog Territory. Each evening was filled with wild Hunting Stalks, Long-Range Shots, and a few close encounters where the Clever Hogs managed to outsmart us!

The highlight of the Hog Hunting Trip? Jeff and Vance successfully brought home 5 Wild Hogs and a Coyote, showcasing their skills and resilience. There’s something truly special about the camaraderie shared during a Wild Hog Hunt, and we were reminded once again how Thermal Hunting fosters a bond like no other.

Night One Adventures

Guide Clayton's Team: The Patience Pays Off

The first night proved to be a true test of patience for Clayton and his crew. “Only thing we saw all night. It be like that sometimes,” Clayton remarked. Even though the night started slow, they managed to successfully take down a Wild Boar that didn't stand a chance. Check out the photo of their hard-earned Trophy Boar below!

Guide Hank's Team: A Lesson in Patience

Meanwhile, Guide Hank's night took a different direction. “Very slow night,” Hank reported. Guide Clay txted Hank and raised a poignant question: “Is it God’s plan to not find any Pigs?” Hank, ever the optimist, replied that perhaps God was teaching them patience. Just as the night seemed to drag on, at 3:30 AM, Hank spotted a Lone Pig less than 200 yards from the van on the treeline. After a stealthy approach, they successfully took down the Hog with ease. Hank’s heartfelt wish was that Clay might find faith one day, further emphasizing the camaraderie that Hunting fosters.

Night Two Excitement

Guide Clayton's Renewed Spirit

The second night surged with energy and action for Guide Peanut Protector Clayton and his team. “The only time I saw pigs was at 4 AM,” he recalled. However, patience proved to be the game-changer. Their luck shifted when they encountered a Sounder of Pigs, leading to an exhilarating Hog Hunt where they brought down 5 Wild Hogs! The experience was exhilarating, and the Hog Hunters celebrated their success! Check out the photo of their incredible haul:

Guide Hank's Thrilling Encounter

Hank's team also experienced an Adrenaline-Filled Night of Hunting. He remarked about feeling déjà vu as he spotted Wild Pigs sneaking around in the moonlight. After strategizing their approach, they managed to take down 5 Pigs, with three on the first round. Dragging the Wild Hogs back to the road for a photo op, Hank’s Thermal suddenly revealed six more Wild Hogs emerging from the treeline! With renewed enthusiasm, they geared up once again and successfully bagged two more Pigs, concluding the night with a total of five for the evening. In an exhilarating Night of Hunting, Guide Captian Guide Captian Clayton led a team on their quest for Wild Pigs, showcasing the thrill and challenges of Hog Hunting. The evening began with an early start, where the Hunters quickly got on the trail of their quarry. After a long and strategic stalk, it became evident that the Pigs were aware of their presence and made their way into the trees.

As the night continued, the team’s perseverance paid off. Around 1 a.m., they spotted another group of Wild Hogs, leading to a successful culmination of their Hog Hunt. In a display of skill and teamwork, they managed to take down three Hogs before the night's excitement wound down. Despite their efforts, no additional Pigs were sighted for the remainder of the night, and the Hog Hunters decided to wrap things up at 2 a.m.

Last night was one for the books here at Pig Problem! Our talented guide, Hank, took a thrilling 4-man group out for an unforgettable Thermal Hog Hunting adventure under the stunning Southwest Georgia stars. With the moon shining and the cool breeze rustling through the trees, expectations were high for a night filled with excitement.

The night began with anticipation as the Hunters navigated the dark terrain equipped with Top-Notch Thermal Gear. The group wasted no time before their skills were put to the test! They successfully shot at three Pigs, ultimately confirming one kill—an impressive result for just a few hours of Hog Hunting.

As the Hog Hunt continued, the team spotted some Wild Pigs lingering in the trees of another field. The excitement was palpable as hopes ran high, but these savvy Hogs weren’t ready to make an appearance. That’s when Guide Hank worked his magic, calling in a Coyote that darted into view. What a rush! The encounter added an exhilarating twist to an already successful night.

Last night was one for the books as the entire Pig Problem crew set out for a night of shooting videos in The Great Outdoors. What started as an ordinary Wild Hog Scouting session turned into an encounter, and let me tell you, you won't want to miss this story!

An Unexpected Encounter

Around 9:30 PM, as we made our way through the first South Georgia Field, we were greeted by a sight that got our adrenaline pumping—a Wild Boar! The thrill of spotting a Nasty Boar in its natural habitat was something to smell, and we instantly knew we had to capture this moment on film. With excitement in the air, we quickly prepared our gear to document the Hog Hunt.

In a single night, 18 Wild Hogs were successfully Hunted by the Hunting Party. The Hunt was described as perfect from beginning to end. Guide Capt Clayton expressed his love for his job, stating that the success of the night brought him immense satisfaction.

The Hunters were able to capture a lot of footage during the Hunt, intending to create a YouTube video that would showcase their Thrilling Hunting Adventure. Guide Capt Clayton mentioned the excitement of potentially becoming famous through the video and humorously offered his signature to interested individuals who may want to sell it in the future.

Overall, it was a memorable and successful Night of Hog Hunting, leaving the Hunters with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the future.

Guide Hank took these guys Hog Hunting. On the second night of Wild Hog Hunting with Joe and Mark. Five Pigs were spotted, with shots fired at two on the second field and three on the third field. As the group was setting up, they stumbled upon a Sounder of Sleeping Pigs, which quickly turned and stared at them. The Hunters acted swiftly, taking down three Hogs before they could react. Despite not encountering any more Wild Hogs for the remainder of the night, it was considered a Successful Hunt with a good amount of Meat Harvested. Guide Hank said these hunters skills were impressive and he hopes to guide them again in the future.
