Georgia Predator Hunts

Pig Problem

The Reality of Hog Hunting:

A Night with Capt Max

Photo: Coyote Down @PigProblem

At Pig Problem Inc, every Thermal Hunt is different—sometimes it’s fast action, sometimes it’s a grind, and sometimes, it’s a mix of both. On this 1 Night Thermal Hunt, Guide Capt Max and his Hunters got a little bit of everything: a first-time predator kill, close encounters with Wild Hogs, and a reminder that all of Hunting is never a guarantee.

The night started strong when Harry dropped his First Coyote. It was a textbook setup—Calling a Coyote in to about 50-60 yards before sealing the deal. A great way to kick things off.

Next up: Wild Pigs. They got on a Sounder early, but despite solid effort, nothing hit the ground. Then came two more opportunities—one pair and one single. But when the wind shifted, the pair caught their scent and vanished. The single? Pulled a Houdini and disappeared into the night.

Hunting is 100% Present Opportunity,” Capt Max said. “Skill, luck, time all have some play. But mainly, going outside is the biggest part.” That’s the truth of it—showing up, putting in the time, and being ready when the moment comes.

And speaking of putting in the time—Max has spent the past four nights sleeping in the van, getting home at 8-9 a.m. This isn’t just a job; it’s a lifestyle. “Everyone wants to be a Hog Hunter for the glory,” he joked. But the reality? It’s long nights, hard-earned kills, and doing whatever it takes to Solve The Pig Problem.

Pig Problem

Late-Night Action:

A One-Night Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, we see all kinds of Hog Hunts—some quick and easy, others that turn into an all-night pursuit. On a recent 1 Night Thermal Hog Hunt, Guide Clayton led a group of Hunters who were eager, ready, and, most importantly, willing to listen. That combination usually leads to success, and this Wild Hog Hunt was no exception.

The Night of Hunting started with two go-arounds. The first encounter was a Single Hog, a good warm-up for the group to get dialed in with their pew pews and Thermal. They executed perfectly, making a clean shot and getting their first Hog Down.

But the real excitement came later. At around 2 a.m., Clayton spotted a Sounder of Pigs moving through the fields. This was the moment the group had been waiting for. With precision and patience, they followed Clayton’s guidance, setting up for a well-coordinated shot. When the green light was given, chaos erupted as Multiple Hogs Dropped in the field.

Clayton had nothing but good things to say about this group. “Guys were super easy and listened to everything I said,” he noted. That attention to detail paid off, as they walked away with a successful night of Hog Control and an Unforgettable Hunting Experience.

Another night, another Pig Problem Solved. If you’re ready for a High-Energy Hunt/ Adrenaline-Pumping Hog Hunt, Pig Problem Inc is the place to be. Book your Hunt now and experience the thrill for yourself!

At Pig Problem, we know bigger groups mean bigger opportunities. That’s why we can take up to 15-20 Hunters per night, splitting into smaller groups with our Expert Hunting Guides to maximize the action. On this Guided Hog Hunt, Guides Capt Max and Hank each took five Hunters for a 2 Night Thermal Hog Hunt.

Night One:

Tough Hunting, Strong Finish

Coyote Hunting

The first night started with promise as Hank’s group dropped a hog in the first field. But from there, the Pigs weren’t giving up their positions easily. The group searched all night, covering ground without another solid opportunity—until the very last run of the night. That’s when Max called Hank’s group in on a final stalk, leading to another Hog Down. In total, the combined groups took 3 Hogs and a Coyote for the night.

Night Two:

Beavers, Bunnies, and a Sounder

The second night had its fair share of action—just not all from Wild Pigs. Max got a couple of beavers down, and Hank’s crew even got a shot at a rabbit. But when it came time for Hogs, both groups worked together on a split stalk, bringing down one last Piggy to wrap up the Thermal Hunt.

Pig Problem

The Hunt for Hogs

A Two-Night Adventure with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, no two Hog Hunts are ever the same. Some nights are nonstop action, and other nights put a hunter’s patience and determination to the test. On a recent One Night Hunt, Guide Clayton and his Hunters experienced both sides of the coin - proving that in the world of Thermal Hog Hunting, persistence is key.

One and Done

The night started with promise. The hunters got their chance, took their shot, and put one Hog on the ground. But after that, the fields went quiet. They covered ground, checked all the usual hotspots, and worked hard to track down more Pigs, but sometimes, the Wild Hogs just don’t want to cooperate. That’s the nature of Wild Hog Hunting - every night brings new conditions, and the challenge is what makes the reward even better.

The Thrill of the Hunt

Some nights, the Wild Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, they play hard to get. But that’s why we Pig Hunt - because every Hunting Trip is an adventure, and the next one could be the best yet. If you’re ready to test your skills and experience the excitement of Guided Hog Hunting, book your Hunt with Pig Problem today. The pigs won’t stay hidden forever, and when they show up, you’ll want to be there to make it count!

Nighttime Hog Hunting

Pig Problem

Face Paint, Rabbits, Possums, and a Pig

A Night Hunt with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, we believe in making every Hog Hunt an Unforgettable Hunting Experience - not just for the action, but for the stories that come with it. On a recent 1 Night Hog Hunt, Guide Clayton took two Hunters out for some Thermal Hog Hunting, but the night started with a little extra fun.

The Face Paint Tradition

Hunting Face Paint

Photo: Face Paint Done, Ready For The Piggies @PigProblem

Guide Zev has a habit of telling his Hog Hunters to wear Hunting Face Paint, and for this hunt, Clayton decided to join in on the tradition. During range time - where all the guides go over safety and firearm handling with New Hunters - Clayton, Zev, and their groups all geared up with face paint together. After some laughs and a solid safety briefing, the guides split off for their separate hunts.

A Wild Night in the Fields

Hog Hunting

Photo: Got Em @PigProblem

Clayton’s Wild Hog Hunt turned into more than just a Hog Pursuit. With pew pews in hand and Thermals locked on, the Wild Hog Hunters ended up with an unexpected mix of critters. The night tally? One hog, two possums, and Clayton himself taking down two rabbits along the way.

While the goal is always putting hunters on pigs, the unpredictable nature of Night Hunting means you never know what might cross your path. Whether it’s a Hog, a Coyote, or even a Rabbit in the wrong place at the wrong time, every Guided Hog Hunt is an adventure.

Thermal Predator Hunts

From Hogs to Predators

Pig Problem

Photo: Hunting Coyotes @PigProblem

At Pig Problem, Inc., we know that every Hog Hunt is a different adventure. Sometimes, the Hogs cooperate, and sometimes they seem to disappear into thin air. But no matter what, we make the most of every night in the field.

Guide Hank recently led a 1 Night Thermal Hog Hunt, and while the group didn’t get a chance to put a Wild Hog on the ground, they still had a successful night - because they managed to take down a Coyote instead! When the hogs go into hiding, Predator control becomes the next best target, and we’re always ready to adapt.

The Hunt That Turned Into a Predator Control Mission

Wild Hog Hunting is unpredictable. After the recent snowstorm, the Pigs have been acting strange - maybe the sudden weather shift threw them off their routine. One night they’re everywhere, and the next, they’re ghosts. That’s the challenge of Hunting Wild Hogs: you never know what the night will bring.

But that’s why we love it. Unlike sitting in a stand over a bait pile, our Guided Hunts are all about strategy, movement, and real-time decision-making. With Thermal Optics in hand, we cover ground, Scanning Fields and wood lines for Heat Signatures. On this Thermal Hunt, instead of spotting a Sounder of Hogs, the team locked onto the glowing shape of a Coyote creeping through the night.

Coyotes are another major problem for farmers and landowners, preying on livestock, deer fawns, and even pets. Taking one out is always a win in our book. So while the night didn’t end with a Hog Down, it was still a success.

The Thrill of the Spot-and-Stalk Thermal Hunt

What makes our Wild Hog Hunts so exciting is the way we do them. We don’t just sit in a stand and wait - we get out there and Hunt. Spot-and-stalk Thermal Hunting is an adrenaline rush from start to finish. Every Hunting Trip is different, every encounter is unique, and every Hunter leaves with a great story.

Hogs are tough to hunt, and sometimes, they just don’t show up. But that’s what makes it all the more rewarding when everything lines up, and we move in on a Sounder. That’s the kind of Guided Hog Hunt we’re looking forward to for these guys when they come back - we’re determined to put them on some Pigs!

2 Nights Of Hog Hunting

The Great Pig Problem:

Lessons from Hank’s Two-Night Hog Hunt

Photo: Nothing Is Better Than This @PigProblem

When it comes to Wild Hog Hunting, every Hunting Trip is a unique adventure, filled with triumphs and challenges. Recently, our Guide Hank led a group of Hunters on a 2 Night Hunting Expedition that certainly delivered on both fronts. Join us as we dive into the highs and lows of this Unforgettable Hog Hunt.

Night 1:

A Roaring Start

Photo: Thermal Hog Hunting @PigProblem

From the moment we set foot in the first field, it was clear that this Hog Hunt was going to be one for the books. Hank recounted one of the loudest stalks he’s ever experienced, as we trekked through the frozen cut corn and melted icy snow. It was a test of patience and skill, but with some determination, we managed to get within 100 yards of the Wild Pigs.

In a flash of adrenaline-fueled action, we successfully secured 3 Pigs before they vanished into the brush, leaving us high on success but hungry for more. The Thrill of the Hunt pushed us onward, and we searched tirelessly throughout the night for additional opportunities to strike. While our efforts did not yield further Piggies, the first night was nothing short of triumphant—a fantastic kick-off to our Hunting Adventure!

Night 2:

The Wild Side of Hunting

Photo: Hunting Coyotes @PigProblem

As dusk fell on our second evening, reality set in. While the first night had blessed us with immediate satisfaction, the second brought a different kind of challenge. Despite our excitement and the promise of what lay ahead, it was a late night filled with empty returns.

Our strategy almost paid off when we saw a Sounder of Hogs just across a neighboring property, but they remained tantalizingly out of reach, teasing us with their presence. Instead, we opted to shift focus and scouted for other opportunities, which led us to a brief encounter with a Coyote. Although we didn’t manage to score a shot, the experience was capitalized with a cool photo that perfectly captured the essence of the Coyote Hunt.

As the night wore on, it became clear that this is the reality of Thermal Wild Hog Hunting: some nights yield incredible success while others put our patience to the test. Hank reflected on the experience, remarking how different things might have been if we’d resorted to baiting or sitting in a stand, but that’s just not our style. We’re a band of hunters who thrive on the wild, unpredictable nature of the chase.

Final Thoughts

Photo: Stalking Wild Hogs @PigProblem

This Pig Problem Guide is more than just a summary of what happened in two nights; it’s a testament to the spirit of Hog Hunting itself. It’s about embracing the exhilarating highs, the frustrating lows, and everything in between. While Hank may not have brought them home a dozen pigs, the memories made and the fellowship shared under the stars are what truly enrich the experience.

So here’s to the next Wild Hog Hunt—a reminder that in the world of Guided Hog Hunting, you never know what will happen next. Until then, stay rugged and keep chasing those Wild Hunts. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Happy hunting!

Unforgettable Nights Under the Stars:

A Recap of Our Recent Hog Hunt

Photo: Nights Like This @PigProblem

As the seasons change and the stars shimmer brightly over the Americus Georgia farm fields, we had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable 4 Night Hog Hunt for three of our favorite repeat customers: Frank, Paul, and Grover. Guided by the intrepid and passionate Guide Clayton, this Hunting Trip was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and, of course, some Thrilling Hunts. Join us as we recount the highlights of each night and the special bond these Hunters have fostered through their shared love for The Great Outdoors.

Night One:

Setting the Tone for Adventure

Photo: He Had To Go… @PigProblem

The first night started with pure joy and excitement as Frank, Paul, and Grover settled into their Hog Hunting routine. These three gentlemen are not just clients; they’ve become friends over the past three years. Their easygoing nature and genuine enthusiasm for each other's company create an atmosphere where everything else fades into the background. They took down three impressive Wild Pigs on this first night—a fantastic start to their adventure!

Photo: Rabies Hog @PigProblem

A particular highlight of the night was the discovery of a Pig that exhibited signs of Rabies. Guide Clayton quickly communicated with Maximus, who confirmed the pig's condition. It’s important to note that pigs can indeed contract rabies, a serious illness that can pose risks to both animals and humans. Grover expressed their relief at having the pig taken down, emphasizing the importance of safety when Wild Hog Hunting. This moment not only illuminated the potential hazards of Wild Hogs With Rabies but also showcased the Hog Hunters’ awareness and respect for Hunting Safety.

Night Two:

Adapting Amidst the Challenges

Photo: Pro Hog Hunter @PigProblem

Night two brought its own set of challenges as Paul and Grover faced some unfortunate stomach issues, leaving Frank to brave the Thermal Hunt solo. Despite this, Frank still managed to bring home three more Hogs, showcasing resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.

Photo: Killa @PigProblem

One tense moment occurred when they dropped a fourth Piggy from 200 yards away, but the animal managed to crawl just past the tree line—the area where access is limited. In situations like these, it serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of the Guided Hog Hunt and the crucial importance of knowing our limits.

Night Three:

"One and Done"

Photo: Last One For The Night @PigProblem

By night three, the atmosphere was electric but tinged with exhaustion. Guide Clayton's only words for the night were “One and done.” It was a night of reflection, with the crew rallying for one Successful Hog Hunt, even if it aimed for a more laid-back experience.

Night Four:

Friendship Rekindled

Photo: Not The Ear @PigProblem

The final night was nothing short of magical. Under the vast South Georgia sky, Frank reminded Guide Clayton of the simple joys in life: taking the time to appreciate the beauty of nature and the company of friends. As they shared stories and soaked up the serenity of the night, they managed to bag two more Wild Piggies.

Photo: Dang Another Ear Shot @PigProblem

As Guide Clayton recounts, “If I’m being honest, I would kill and die for these guys.” This declaration reflects the genuine bond formed over countless nights spent navigating the wilderness together. Friendship blossomed from shared experiences, laughter, and mutual respect for the craft of Hunting.
