Father and Son Hog Hunting

In the still of the night, Guide Capt Clayton took the reins for a 1 Night Hog Hunting escapade at Pig Problem in Americus, GA. Battling through a tough start, he and the group didn't encounter their first two sizable Boars until the early hours of 4 AM. As they stealthily approached their quarry, fate took a turn—the Wild Boars vanished into the woods just moments before a shot could be taken, leaving the Hunters in the quiet of the deep darkness. Not one to give up, Capt Peanut Protector Clayton decided to check one last field, a Hail Mary attempt, which paid off. There, a Sounder of Pigs was discovered 300 yards from the van, blissfully foraging for nuts. Derek and his son JC seized the moment, successfully taking down two Wild Pigs in the field, with the possibility of others wounded. We Have Candy In Our Hunting Vans

Guide Capt Clayton shared a humorous post about a recent 1 Night Hog Hunt that he led the last night, showcasing his unique style and approach to Hunting Adventures.

Thees guys are from North Georgia and they are Seasoned Hunters who were familiar with Pig Hunting but had never experienced a Night Hunt with Thermal Equipment, suppressors, and the guidance of a guide who, in certain lighting with his hair grown out, may bear a slight resemblance to Jane Lynch. However, the most essential tool for the Thermal Hunt was a trusty Chevy Hunting Van.

Guide Capt Clayton humorously highlighted the versatility of the Chevy van, describing it as a steel box on wheels that can be used for various purposes. From Hunting to living arrangements, the Chevy van serves many purposes. However, he made it clear not to use it for deceptive purposes, such as pretending to run a candy store to make friends. Clayton humorously emphasized the importance of ethical behavior, stating that lying about having candy is simply wrong.

With his wit and charm, Guide Capt Clayton brought a light-hearted tone to the recount of the Hog Hunt, showcasing his personality and unique perspective on the Hunting Experience.

Muddy Hog Hunting

Guide Capt Clay led a 1 Night Hog Hunting Excursion for Pig Problem, in Americus, Ga. Upon pulling into the first field, he spotted two groups of Pigs. Despite the thick moisture in the air and occasional sprinkles of rain, they managed to track down one group after a 1.5 Mile Stalk. Only one Baby Hog was taken down in the field, as the rest escaped. An hour later, they found another Group of Hogs in a different field and successfully shot down four. The Hunting Expedition left everyone, including Guide Capt Peanut Protector Clayton, covered in mud - from the van to the guns to the people themselves, there was mud everywhere.
