Pig Hunting Georgia

Hunting The Toughest Animals In America

Pig Problem

Two Nights in the Fields:

A Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, every Wild Hog Hunt is different. Some nights, the Pigs seem to be everywhere. Other nights, they give us the slip. But no matter what, there’s always something to take away from the experience. Guide Clayton recently led a 2 Night Hog Hunt, and here’s how it went.

Night 1:

The Silent Hunt and the Toughest Pig Around

Hog Hunting

The highlight of the night was the sheer resilience of one particular Hog. “This pig took like nine rounds and a couple more with a rifle from 10 feet away and was still trying to get up,” Clayton said. “I want to have the same resilience that some of these pigs can have. It is absolutely amazing to see how mentally and physically tough an animal can be when it wants to live. They have a why so they can survive any how.”

Wild Hogs are notorious for their toughness, but every now and then, we come across one that reminds us just how relentless nature can be.

Night 2:

The Pigs Win This Round

As every Hunter knows, success isn’t guaranteed. After the action of the first night, night two was a different story. The Pigs were nowhere to be found. Some nights, they seem to vanish into thin air, slipping through the fields undetected. That’s part of what makes Hog Hunting a tough hunting sport —you never know what the night will bring.

Even when the Wild Pigs get the upper hand, there’s always something to take away from the Thermal Hunt. Whether it’s a quiet moment under the stars, the thrill of a tough fight, or just time spent outdoors, every Hog Hunt tells a story.

Hunting In Georgia

Pig Problem

Guided by the Best:

A One-Night Hog Hunt with Clayton

At Pig Problem, every Wild Hog Hunt is unique. Some nights are fast-paced, with Pigs on the Move and Hunters working hard to get into position. Other nights, everything falls into place, making for a smooth and Efficient Hunt. This was one of those nights.

Hog Hunting

Guide Clayton led the Hog Hunt, but the real credit went to Zev for scouting ahead and finding the Hogs. With the right setup, all that was left was to move in. The Hog Hunters stayed focused, took their shots, and successfully brought down a Wild Hog.

After a long night in the field, exhaustion set in, but the results spoke for themselves. Another Successful Hunt, another Great Hunting Experience for the hunters. Nights like these remind us that preparation, teamwork, and patience always pay off. If you’re ready for your own Thermal Hog Hunting adventure, Pig Problem is the place to be. The Wild Pigs are out there—you just have to go after them.

Late-Night Success:

A Two-Night Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton

Hog Hunting is always an adventure, but some Hog Hunts stand out as particularly memorable. That was the case for Glenn and Erik, two Returning Hunters who joined Guide Clayton for another action-packed Two-Night Thermal Hunt with Pig Problem. Having Hunted with Clayton the previous year, they knew they were in for a good time—and the results did not disappoint.

Night One:

Off to a Strong Start

Hog Hunting

Photo: Boar Down @PigProblem

From the start, it was clear that Glenn and Erik were excited to be back in the fields, ready to take down some Hogs. Their first night out, the trio worked together to track a group of pigs in the fields, using their Thermal Equipment to scan the landscape. With a well-placed shot, they put a solid Wild Boar on the ground, kicking off the Boar Hunt on a high note.

For these guys, it wasn’t just about the Hunt—it was about the experience. Wild Hog Hunting alongside a guide they already knew and trusted made the night feel less like a Guided Hunting Trip and more like a hunt with old friends.

Night Two:

A Hunt to Remember

The second night turned into an endurance test, pushing well into the early morning hours. In a now-familiar pattern, the Wild Hog Hunt stretched all the way to 5 AM, proving once again that patience and persistence pay off in Thermal Hog Hunting.

The wind was not in their favor, blowing directly toward the Pigs from the van. Knowing they had to adjust their strategy, Clayton and the Hunters made a quick decision—they booked it across the field in a last-ditch effort to get into a better position. Clayton climbed onto a pivot to get a better vantage point, hoping the Wild Pigs hadn’t moved. Miraculously, they were still right where they had been, offering the perfect opportunity for a clean shot.

But this Thermal Hunt wasn’t just about strategy and skill—it also came with some unexpected humor. As the team settled into position, the silence of the night was suddenly interrupted. One of the Hunters, unintentionally lightened the mood, causing a brief but hilarious pause in the action. Holding in their laughter was almost as difficult as the stalk itself, but once they regained composure, they got back to business and successfully dropped two Wild Hogs before the night was over.

The Thrill of the Hunt

For Glenn and Erik, we hope this Hunting Trip was more than just another Pig Hunt—it was a chance to return to the fields, enjoy the challenge, and create new memories. For Clayton, it was another reminder of why he loves Guiding Hunts. He might joke that luck plays a big role in his success, but his ability to adapt, make quick decisions, and keep the hunt fun and engaging is what keeps Hog Hunters coming back year after year.

These two hunters have already made it clear—they’ll be back next year for another Unforgettable Hunt. Until then, the Farm Fields of Georgia will keep calling, and the hogs will keep running. But not for long.

Hunting Wild Pigs

Pig Problem

The Hunt for Hogs

A Two-Night Adventure with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, no two Hog Hunts are ever the same. Some nights are nonstop action, and other nights put a hunter’s patience and determination to the test. On a recent One Night Hunt, Guide Clayton and his Hunters experienced both sides of the coin - proving that in the world of Thermal Hog Hunting, persistence is key.

One and Done

The night started with promise. The hunters got their chance, took their shot, and put one Hog on the ground. But after that, the fields went quiet. They covered ground, checked all the usual hotspots, and worked hard to track down more Pigs, but sometimes, the Wild Hogs just don’t want to cooperate. That’s the nature of Wild Hog Hunting - every night brings new conditions, and the challenge is what makes the reward even better.

The Thrill of the Hunt

Some nights, the Wild Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, they play hard to get. But that’s why we Pig Hunt - because every Hunting Trip is an adventure, and the next one could be the best yet. If you’re ready to test your skills and experience the excitement of Guided Hog Hunting, book your Hunt with Pig Problem today. The pigs won’t stay hidden forever, and when they show up, you’ll want to be there to make it count!

Sniper Shooting…

Pig Problem

Precision Hog Hunting in Americus, Georgia

Hog Hunting in Georgia is always exciting, but when a group of skilled marksmen takes the field, the results can be truly impressive. Over two nights, Guide Hank led a pair of Hunters on a successful Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, putting their long-range shooting skills to the test.

Night One:

A Strong Start

Predator Hunting

Photo: Predator Hunting @PigProblem

The Night Hunt began with an incredible 300-yard shot on a coyote, proving these Snipper Hunters were dialed in and ready for action. After hearing more Coyotes Howling in the distance, they attempted several calls, but none were willing to come out into the open.

Morning Fog

Photo: Morning Fog @PigProblem

The Pig Hunt continued as the group set their sights on Wild Hogs. A Pig presented a difficult shot through thick brush, but they took their chance. Before the night ended, heavy fog rolled in, making further Hunting impossible. Even with the challenges, the night ended on a high note with both 2 Coyotes Down - clear signs of success.

Night Two:

Long-Range Precision

The second night was all about accuracy and patience. The Hunters spotted a group of hogs at 300 yards and lined up their shots. With precision shooting, two Wild Pigs dropped in their tracks - a sight that Hank described as incredible to watch.

Hog Hunting

As the night continued, they focused on calling for coyotes, but none responded. Instead, they shifted their attention to one last field and found another group of hogs. Moving in carefully, they got into position, but the Wild Hogs had the high ground. After the first shot, the rest of the Sounder vanished, making follow-up shots impossible. Even so, the night was another success, with three Hogs Down and a display of Outstanding Marksmanship.

Hunting Pigs In Georgia

Pig Problem

Two Nights in Georgia with Guided by Capt Clayton

Hunting is unpredictable. Some nights, the Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, it’s just you, the fields, and the waiting game. This past 2 Night Thermal Hunt with Guide Capt Clayton had a little bit of everything - some frustration, some bad luck, and ultimately, a couple of successful shots.

Night One:

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: One Hog Down @PigProblem

The first night out was slow. Real slow. Just one Wild Pig spotted all night long. A Coyote and a Possum crossed our path, but now they can’t do that anymore... The one Hog that did show up didn’t make it out either. Clayton wasn’t feeling his best, and by the end of the night, the only thing on my mind was hoping he wouldn’t wake up sick.

Night Two:

Guided Hog Hunting

Photo: Got Em @PigProblem

The Hog Hunt started with a different kind of loss - Guide Claytons $400 ear protection. After searching high and low, finally he found them… in the washing machine. So now, he gets to spend another $400 replacing something he already had. Gotta love it.

As for the Wild Hog Hunt, the Pigs weren’t exactly cooperative. Only one showed up on there side, and he was sound asleep when they found him. He didn’t stay that way for long. A quick wake-up call, and he was down for good. Meanwhile, the Thermal picked up a whole group of hogs in an orchard where they couldn't step foot. All we could do was watch as they did what Wild Hogs do best - eat and cause destruction.

Pigs In A Pecan Orchard

Photo: These Pigs Were Very Lucky and Full Of Pecans… @PigProblem

Now, back home, Peanut Protector Guide Capt Clayton was winding down with some YouTube gum videos, keeping him entertained, and calling it a wrap on another Thermal Hunt. Some nights are packed with action, others test your patience - but that’s the way it goes in the world of thermal hog hunting.

Georgia Hog Hunting

Thermal Hog Hunting Adventures in Georgia

Photo: They Got One!! @PigProblem

When it comes to Hog Hunting, few experiences rival the thrill of chasing Wild Hogs under the cover of darkness with state-of-the-art Thermal Technology. At PigProblem, Inc., our mission is to provide a Hunting Adventure while helping farmers control the destructive wild hog population that wreaks havoc on their land.

Guide Clayton recently wrapped up a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and his group took to the fields of South Georgia for a chance to bag Wild Hogs. While these clever animals put up quite a challenge, the team successfully harvested one Hog during the Hunt. Wild Hogs are notoriously intelligent and elusive, and every Wild Hog Hunt is a test of patience, skill, and persistence.

The Challenge and Reward of Hog Hunting

Wild Hog Hunting isn’t easy - and that’s exactly why we love it. Some nights, you might spot Dozens of Hogs, while other nights, they seem to disappear entirely. Even when you see a bunch of Wild Pigs, the wind might shift at the wrong moment. A single whiff of human scent, and they’re gone, running into the darkness before you can take a shot.

Hogs are smart, cautious, and always on high alert, which makes Hunting them one of the most challenging pursuits in the field. But it’s that very challenge that keeps us coming back night after night. It’s the thrill of the chase, the rush of Spotting a Hog through the Thermal Equipment, and the satisfaction of outsmarting one of the most elusive animals in the wild.

Why Choose Thermal Hog Hunting?

Thermal Hog Hunting gives Hog Hunters a unique advantage. With cutting-edge Thermal op-tic-s, we can detect the heat signatures of hogs in complete darkness, making it easier to locate and track them in the Farm Fields of South Georgia. This technology doesn’t make the Guided Hog Hunt easy - but it levels the playing field in a way that’s fair and exciting.

Whether you’re a Seasoned Hunter or new to the sport, our Hunting Guides are here to help you navigate every step of the process. From spotting hogs to lining up the perfect shot, we’re committed to making sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and Unforgettable Hunting Experience.

A Hunt That Makes a Difference

Pig Hunting isn’t just a Thrilling Hunting Adventure - it’s a vital conservation effort. Wild Hogs are an Invasive Species that cause millions of dollars in damage to crops, property, and native ecosystems every year. By Hunting them, we’re helping farmers protect their land and controlling the spread of this destructive animal.

Are You Ready for the Challenge?

Wild Pig Hunting is hard. It’s unpredictable, demanding, and not every night will end with a Trophy Boar. But that’s what makes it special. At Pig Problem, we embrace the challenge because we know it’s worth it - for the land, for the farmers, and for the thrill of the hunt.

If you’re ready to experience the excitement of Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia, we’re here to guide you. Contact us today to book your next Hunting Trip and discover why we’re so passionate about what we do.

Let’s hunt, conserve, and create memories together!

Thermal Predator Hunts

From Hogs to Predators

Pig Problem

Photo: Hunting Coyotes @PigProblem

At Pig Problem, Inc., we know that every Hog Hunt is a different adventure. Sometimes, the Hogs cooperate, and sometimes they seem to disappear into thin air. But no matter what, we make the most of every night in the field.

Guide Hank recently led a 1 Night Thermal Hog Hunt, and while the group didn’t get a chance to put a Wild Hog on the ground, they still had a successful night - because they managed to take down a Coyote instead! When the hogs go into hiding, Predator control becomes the next best target, and we’re always ready to adapt.

The Hunt That Turned Into a Predator Control Mission

Wild Hog Hunting is unpredictable. After the recent snowstorm, the Pigs have been acting strange - maybe the sudden weather shift threw them off their routine. One night they’re everywhere, and the next, they’re ghosts. That’s the challenge of Hunting Wild Hogs: you never know what the night will bring.

But that’s why we love it. Unlike sitting in a stand over a bait pile, our Guided Hunts are all about strategy, movement, and real-time decision-making. With Thermal Optics in hand, we cover ground, Scanning Fields and wood lines for Heat Signatures. On this Thermal Hunt, instead of spotting a Sounder of Hogs, the team locked onto the glowing shape of a Coyote creeping through the night.

Coyotes are another major problem for farmers and landowners, preying on livestock, deer fawns, and even pets. Taking one out is always a win in our book. So while the night didn’t end with a Hog Down, it was still a success.

The Thrill of the Spot-and-Stalk Thermal Hunt

What makes our Wild Hog Hunts so exciting is the way we do them. We don’t just sit in a stand and wait - we get out there and Hunt. Spot-and-stalk Thermal Hunting is an adrenaline rush from start to finish. Every Hunting Trip is different, every encounter is unique, and every Hunter leaves with a great story.

Hogs are tough to hunt, and sometimes, they just don’t show up. But that’s what makes it all the more rewarding when everything lines up, and we move in on a Sounder. That’s the kind of Guided Hog Hunt we’re looking forward to for these guys when they come back - we’re determined to put them on some Pigs!

A Successful Night Hunt

We recently had the opportunity to host David and Rex for a night of Hog Hunting in Americus, Georgia. Guide Hank led the Hog Hunt, and it was a great experience for everyone involved.

David and Rex are annual Quail Hunters in Georgia, and this year they decided to add a stop in Americus to Hunt Hogs with us. They got on a Sounder and were able to take down three Pigs, which were scattered across the field. We had to drag them all together, which made for a bit of a challenge, but it was a great night overall.

Guide Hank said, "We got some great pigs and shared some good laughs. I’d be happy to hunt them again." We're always happy to have clients like David and Rex, and we're looking forward to their next visit.

Hog Hunts In Georgia

Wild Hog Hunting Trip

A Three-Night Hog Hunting Expedition with Clayton

The Unpredictable World of Wild Hog Hunting

When you venture into the farm fields of South Ga in pursuit of Wild Hogs, the outcome is far from certain. As a Seasoned Hunting guide, I've seen it all - from early morning shoots to sleepless nights spent tracking elusive prey. My recent 3 Night Hunting Expedition with a group of determined Hunters was an adventure that tested our skills, patience, and teamwork.

Night 1:

An Early Start

Photo: Wild Hog Down @PigProblem

Our first night was a promising start, with an early Wild Hog Sighting in a nearby field. We skillfully executed our plan, but the excitement was short-lived as the night wore on without any additional sightings.

Night 2:

Déjà Vu Strikes Again

Photo: Thermal Hunting @PigProblem

The second night was a carbon copy of the first, with another early Pig Sighting and a subsequent lull. Despite our best efforts, we returned to camp without any further encounters.

It's the Unpredictability of Hunting that keeps it exciting. You can't always rely on the numbers or the terrain. Sometimes, it's just about being in the right place at the right time.

Night 3:

New Beginnings with Max

For the final night of the Thermal Hunting Trip, Clay handed the reins over to the skilled colleague, Max. Together, they navigated the wilderness, employing Max's expertise to track down the Elusive Hogs. Although we encountered a few leads, the night ended without any kills.

The Takeaway

It's not about the number of trophies brought home but about the shared experiences and camaraderie forged in the wild. "Hunting is a journey, not a destination. And with every Wild Hog Hunt, you come away with a little more knowledge, experience, and memories to cherish."
