Hunting Hogs using Thermal Imaging often involves getting up close and personal with the animals, as the technology allows Hunters to Stalk their Prey silently and undetected. The close proximity adds an element of intensity and requires stealth and skill to execute a Successful Hunt. That’s was these guys did. They ended the night with 4 Wild Hogs!

Update to Cancellation Policy

We understand the cost and commitment customers take to hunt with us. We want to give 100%, but due to life happening we will now cancel hunts if one of our team members have a death in the family or illness. We will give a 100% refund on deposits and or try to reschedule you with a different guide. If customers need to change guides for the second night, a range session and safety brief will be needed for the second night for a better experience.

Do You Know What A Hog's Best Sense Is?

They encountered warm weather and shifting winds while Hunting. They managed to take down a Big Boar. However, there were a few instances where we were winded during our Stalks. For those who may not understand, being winded refers to a situation where the wind changes direction while we're approaching the Hogs, and they are able to pick up our scent. Unlike most animals, Wild Hogs don’t have night vision, their eyes are similar to humans. However, their sense of smell is incredibly strong and they can detect scents from miles away. Feral Hogs possess an extremely well developed sense of smell; in fact, smell is a Hog's best sense. They rely heavily on it to detect danger and seek out food. They can smell some odors 5-7 miles away and can detect odors as many as 25 feet underground!

Very slow night. Saw some Piglets that have a sixth sense about humans because they have been shot at since they were in the womb so basically Peanut Protector Clayton need a hand grenade and some face paint to get the job done with those ones. Then this Big Boar was hanging out in the middle of the field just eating nuts and stuff having a good day until Guide Capt Clayton ruined his day. Does Guide Peanut Protector Clayton feel bad? No. “My job is too ruin Pigs days so that they don’t ruin farmers days. Farmers > Pigs” -Guide Capt Clayton
